Covering both art and storytelling, any fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will want to be in the audience to get a sneak peak at how the professionals keep the series moving forward.

HORROR FROM THE GROUND UP 2:00 PM
Good horror is hard to come by, and making it is even more difficult, so we’ve put to- gether a panel of expert horror creators that will help provide some direction for aspiring writers and illustrators of the macabre. From mainstream publishing to independents, we bring you the whole spectrum of horror in comics. Don’t miss it!

CHARITY AUCTION 4:30 PM
The Charity Auction will take great some of the best selections from the comics in- dustry, our guests and our exhibitors, and will auction them for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. The CBLDF is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the First Amendment rights of the comics medium.

Their work takes them into courtrooms, classrooms, conventions and libraries all over the United States where they provide legal aid, education, and advocacy to protect the First Amendment rights of the readers, creators, retailers, publishers, and librarians of comics, manga, and graphic novels.

COSTUME CONTEST 5:00 PM
The costume contest calls all the cosplay geniuses in the area to show their stuff!

Ryan ‘Zip’ Zipperian
Zip currently hosts ‘Loud N Local’ on the tri-state’s rock station, X1063. ‘Loud N Local’ a one hour feature show which showcases local area bands. Zip is a Huntington native and a comic culture fanatic. Zip will be the first to tell you he didn’t always have a comic in his hand, but he did have an action figure, video game, animated feature and so on. In addition to working for the X, Zip is also the voice of local wrestling company 304 Wrestling. This is Zip’s 2 year as collaborator at The Tri-State Comic Con.
